Frequently Asked Questions
This is an ongoing document based on the common questions we are asked by our clients. Hopefully you will find this informative and helpful.
Do we need passports to travel to Mexico, the Caribbean and Canada?
We recommend checking the Department of State for the requirments but a safe assumption these days is simply to leave and enter the USA by air you need a passport. Always be safe and have a current passport.
Can a travel agent save us money?
Normally we can save you money for most travel needs but we can always save you time and most likely prevent errors and costly mistakes. We can also make your travel easier and more convenient as well.
Does it cost more to book through a travel agent than by myself
No we do not add to the cost of air or accommodations , rail travel or car rentals. However, with all of these we can often get you better deals as we have the buying power with our host agency. We also take into consideration locations, reviews, reputation and client reports.
Why can pricing change so quickly whil I am deciding what I want to do?
Pricing by the airlines is computer driven and is based primarily on volume of business. Popularity of a specific flight, time of year and how close to departure can all affect price changes. We often see prices change within minutes of getting a quote. If you are given a quote that works you should not hesitate as it will most likely not go down but can easily and quickly go up.
